TikTok Ban in USA
As of January 19, 2025, Apple has removed apps developed by ByteDance Ltd. from the US App Store, in accordance with the “Protecting Americans from Foreign Enemy Controlled Applications Act.” This decision was made as a result of the law enacted due to US national security concerns.

Access Restrictions:
Users visiting the US and those with Apple accounts outside the US will also not be able to access these apps.
Could the Google Play Store impose a similar ban? This question remains to be answered.
