Samsung has decided to stop providing software updates for the Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Galaxy Tab S7, and Galaxy Tab S7+. These devices came out in August 2020, and now, after four years, they will no longer get updates.
Last year, these devices already stopped receiving new features and operating system upgrades. Now, they won’t be getting any security updates either, which means Samsung is ending all support for them.
What Can You Do?
If you’re still using one of these devices, it’s important to be careful with security. Without updates, they can become less safe over time. You can try using security apps or take extra precautions when browsing or using your device.
If you’re considering getting a new device, Samsung’s newer models come with longer support and more regular updates, which means better security and new features for a longer time.
