Apple has officially announced the release date for the much-anticipated AI-powered iOS 18.1 operating system (Apple Intelligence).
At the WWDC 2024 event, Apple drew attention with its introduction of productive AI technology, but these features had yet to be made available to users.
iOS 18.1 will be rolled out globally on October 28th. With this update, users of the iPhone 15 Pro and newer models will be able to start using the Apple Intelligence AI features.
If you're someone who installs new updates as soon as they're available, you’re likely counting down the days and eager to explore Apple’s new AI features.
However, as someone who tends to be more cautious, I would prefer to wait a little while before diving in.
While the new update will surely bring useful features, I always remember that New update = New bug potential. I might hold off for a bit to avoid any possible issues.
Does that sound too cautious?
Maybe, but I can’t help recalling past stories of faster battery drain or processors struggling with lower clock speeds after updates. :)
