I personally use a phone with a curved display, and I’m planning to switch soon. Here’s why curved screens don’t work for me:

Curved screens are more prone to scratches and bumps. You can't easily add a screen protector because of the curved edges, which leaves the screen vulnerable.
2. Lack of Privacy
Even if the curved screen is durable, you can't add a privacy screen protector. This makes it harder to keep your screen private in public places.
3. Unpleasant User Experience
Using a curved screen doesn’t feel right to me. It seems like it just makes the screen look bigger, but the touch experience is not satisfying. I prefer a clear boundary to the screen.
4. Case Compatibility
When you put a case on a phone with a curved screen, it often covers part of the screen. This reduces the usable screen area and can be annoying.
5. Pen Usage
Using a pen on a curved screen is problematic. When the pen reaches the curved area, it doesn't work well. If you have a case on, it gets even worse.
Others
Apart from these points, curved screens can also cause accidental touches. The curved edges are more sensitive, which can lead to unintentional inputs. This can be frustrating when you’re trying to use your phone efficiently.
In conclusion, while curved screens may look stylish and modern, they come with several practical downsides. Durability, privacy issues, user experience, case compatibility, and pen usage are all affected. For these reasons, I prefer flat screens and will be switching to one soon. If you have similar preferences or concerns, you might want to consider avoiding curved displays as well.
